Went out last night to go see the Perseid meteor shower. Did not disappoint.
I drove out from San Diego towards Julian and found a trail head parking lot and stopped to do some star gazing. From about 12:30-1:30 AM, there were a ton of them streaking across the sky. Mostly small ones but it was amazing to watch. I didn't get any with the camera, but I decided to take some shots of the Fiesta with a little light painting.

The vertical-ish group of stars just above the driver's side is Perseus.
