It is a GO. Site is confirmed.

The Tour D'Orange (car lovers meet and small road trip) is going on again this New Year's day. It is to be at the same staging area as last year. The info is printed below, but it's the info from last year's event. It's always the same time during the morning.
Web site on Facebook:

https://www.facebook.com/Tour-d-Orange-163004403803373/

7:30 am, Bagel's and Brew opens its doors (supposedly going to open up at 6:30am this year)
8:30 am Maps are passed out
9:00 am The Tour d' Orange Starts

Youtube link to the 2015 TD'O: FiST forum members rolling in about the 2:51 mark. Within a half hour of the video being shot, the cars were being staged all the way to the end of the street.

100's of different makes and models of cars to see and gawk at: 50's and 60's era hot rods and muscle cars, 70's muscle, current muscle like Camero, Corvette, Viper, Challengers, Mustangs, even compact racers like FoST, FiSTs, Fiat Abarth, and Cooper S, BMW M series, AMG Mercs, all years of supercars like Ferrari, Lambos, Maclaren. A lot of these owners put quite some time into beefing their cars up and like to show them off.

New update from the admin of their Facebook page. It is a GO. New Year's Day. Most likely the same staging area as last year which is posted above.

New update: Our mole on the inside says that the staging area for the TD'O won't be posted until a couple days prior to the event for some good reasons. Once I get it, I will re-post here.

Past tour's staging area was right on the north side of John Wayne Airport. The last one started in Aliso Viejo. The driving route went from there to Laguna Beach, then went south. It crossed over the 5 going north east to the foothills. Some hill roads for a little while then back down into the Lake Forest/Irvine area. It goes for about 70 miles total and winds up at some open air mall with lots of restaurants in Orange County, north of the starting point. The staging area could be anywhere in Orange for all I know at this point.

It's confirmed. It will be at the same location as last year. Town Center, 26701 Aliso Creek Road, Aliso Viejo CA.
Bagels and Brew will open at 6:30 a.m. Maybe an outdoor kiosk or something which will be crowded. Cash only.

The info in the first post of this thread is correct.

Tour d'Orange went off great. There were more Fiesta/Focus STs than I had seen in the last couple of years, including 3 Focus RS. Plenty of stop lights on 6 lane roads for "acceleration" comparison testing. But also, lots of long straight stretches with no stop lights. Great scenery on the drive with some twisty foothill rural roads.
