TPMS with snow tires on svt focus wheels

When I first bought my fiST, I had been through enough recent tri-state winters driving that I knew I needed a set of dedicated snow tires. I found a set of focus svt 6-spoke wheels with slightly used continental extreme winter contact tires.

I was still ignorant as this was my first new car, and the first car I owned (I believe) that had a tire pressure monitor system. So I forgot to ask the original owner of the wheels if they had tpms installed or not.

Anyone here know if the mk2 focus svt had a tpms system? Or do I have to go buy a new set of sensors as well as the tpms tool?
I already know how to train the new sensors when I get them.

Thanks in advanced

SVT Focus are MK1 and they didn't come with TPMS....the first year Focus in the US with TPMS are from 2008.

It can't be disabled and I think its a Federal Law to have them on.
