So, me and the FIST are out this morning gathering roots and berries (grocery grabbing) and this curious icon shows up TDC on the tach. It's a cross section of a tire with a ! in the center. WTF! Finished shopping, went home called dealer, went to dealer, had 2" nail in RR tire. In and out in 30 mins. $24. money well spent. For anyone wondering, The TPMS activates at between 3 &4 psi loss of pressure. 800 mi on this car and an effin flat tire? oh well.

I've had 3 tires patched in 41K on this car. I call it bad luck lol.

I bought a new '13 Honda Fit and encountered a nail on the ride home, and it wasn't fixable.

Since the car came with crappy 175/65/15 LRR (low rolling resistance) tires, I ordered a new set of General Altimax HPs in 195/60/15 since they were a little beefier, had more grip, and were supposed to be better in bad weather by far according to Tire Rack's ratings.

Glad it works for you! I have winter rims/tires coming and I didn't waste the money on TPMs...
