Hello guys,

My name is Niccolo from Italy,
I own a Lotus Elise s2 motorized by Duratec 2.0ltr,
the same Duratec from the Fiesta ST150 european version.

Actually i have 180hp and 155ftlbs at the flywheel on 1630lbs(740kg)
which's very funny to drive. 0-60 in about 4 seconds.

As you know HP are never enought!!!

I really would increase torque across the entire rpm range and not just to the end.. which will be great just on a track but since i use my lotus on both track and fast road im looking for proper cams, forged pistons and con rods.

Since I'm very newbie about the duratec aftermarket products and have no experience on this engine can you suggest me the best cams for my expectations?

Also i want say sorry for my bad english :( hope you understand me.

Hi and welcome, you might have better luck on the forum dedicated to the 2.0 duratec or an ST150 specific forum.

Maybe forget the camshafts and buy a supercharger kit [loveboost]
I prefere a Rotrex centrifugal SC but a kit like that need lot of maintenance and a chargecooler.....
In lotus i dont have lot of space... and i would't add weight :D

To add speed, add lightness. Colin Chapman.

VERY cool car, VERY cool to have you here and VERY VERY COOL you quoted Colin Chapman, my mentor for all my decades in modding cars, take out all the weight you can, especially where it matters the most, unsprung weight and at the end of those pieces, rotational mass.

OUCH$$$$

I have a custom, mostly by me DIY 6 piston front and 4 piston rear Wilwood GT rotor brake system for around $2k USD though in my past like I spend several times that on brakes.
