After spending more time than I should installing my new MRX turbo, I am stumped over the oil drain line out of the turbo. How do you fit it over the studs with the gasket in place? it seems impossible

You have to take the bottom out of the block first.

Loosen the exhaust manifold nuts to where you have lots of movement of the entire turbo assembly. Install the line on the turbo first, torque the bolts, then install the bottom into the engine block. It should be a lot easier to install this way. At least it's the technique that I use.

This is what I did. I had to have one of my friends hold the turbo attached to the exhaust manifold, had them suspend it away from the engine block while I guided the drain pipe into the block while it was attached to the turbo.

Through a combination of both suggestions, it's on. Thank god.
