I've tried, the more I polish the more white haze I see lol.
Ok, just watched the video you posted...

It still could be the compound they give you isn't aggressive enough to get rid of the scuffing from the wet-sanding.
But more likely you did burn the clear.

LOL I have to say that video made me cringe. Not the greatest techniques shown there.

Yeah live and learn. Either way it was going to need professional repairing since the scratch was so deep, figured I give it a try lol.

Besides driving it, I FINALLY ordered a shift knob.

Yup whole door has to be painted. He also pointed out there's a small bend in the metal too from the impact.
Oh man, you did a doozy!
Sorry to hear... but re-spraying it is the right way to do it.
