Hello fellow FiST'ers (haha), just got a brand spanking new Fiesta ST yesterday and I'm super stoked about daily driving this thing. I'm new to manual transmissions but I've been doing good so far, I think. I see that these forums are quite active for this car so I hope you guys don't mind if I join you, I've been lurking for quite some time. I used to drive a 99 Lexus ES300 (and still do until I sell it) and I finally got tired of driving grandpa's car (not that it's a bad car), it was between the FiST or the Fiat 500 Abarath and to be honest, I think I made the right call.

I'm having a tad bit of a hard time going from 1st gear to 2nd gear, car stutters a bit (maybe stalling?), but I think I need to just give it a little more gas, practice makes perfect. Any chance any of you know of a thread with some tips & tricks for new buyer's of ford/sync 3 (already turned off hill assist so my car wont die when I fuel it)? Or any advice would be much appreciated. I'll be searching the forums for these tips, so it's all good. Hope to see you guys out there on the road!

Oh and $25k OTD @ 5%, nothing down with average to below average credit. Came with everything except the sun/moon roof (I always wondered about different purchasing prices this when lurking these forums).

Awesome color! Have fun with it. It was my first ford/domestic car also. I have absolutely no regrets. The FiST is an amazing vehicle right out of the box. Just keep driving and you'll get the hang of stick shift and probably never wanna go back lol!

Welcome! I love the color. I've said it before and I will say it again now, I wish I waited to get the 2016 in that shade of blue rather than the blue I got. :(

Something pretty cool happened today, I received a letter from Ford Motor Credit stating that they overestimated my loan interest. They have reduced it to the financing program amount which is 3.9% for 72 months. I know it's not a huge change but it's the principle behind it, makes me even happier about my purchase.
