Hey guys!

Glad to finally find an active FiST forum.
First off -- I've loved these cars for ages (ever since Matt Farah reviewed one and loved it). Over the last few years, I've driven quite a few hot hatches, the FiST being one of the most fun.
Buddy who works at Ford got an A-Plan pin... that, combined with wanting to keep miles low on my R & use it for HPDE / road trips, I bought the Fiesta.

Anyways... to the details!

Car history! (Since mid 2013, at least)

SOLD 2011 Volkswagen GTI (k04 + full bolt on)
SOLD 2015 Mustang Ecoboost (basic bolt on's, hated this car a lot.)
SOLD 2008 Volkswagen R32 (stock minus exhaust... awesome car, got me into AWD)

2012 Volkswagen Golf R
Car is full bolt on right now, has an Integrated Engineering Stage 2 tune, CTS Turbo catless downpipe, CTS Turbo intake, Volkswagen Racing springs, clutch, GFB DV+, Autotech HPFP Upgrade and a few other things.
This is my "garage" car / track day car / weekend / overall pleasure car.

2016 Ford Fiesta ST
  • Molten Orange
  • "Over the Top Stripes" package
  • Recaro Seats
  • All-weather Mats

I love the car so far! I got ~38mpg (readout) from a ~65-70mph cruise on flat land a few days ago... and I average 32mpg on my commute which is usually going very slowly.
I took the car to the twisties, and my god it's capable. It's an absolute blast.

A few pics!

First of the R...

(and my roommate's Forester XT... quite nicely modded as well)

Now of the FiST!

Reserved post!

Planned mods for the FiST so far...
(Won't be much, it's a lease -- pretty sure I'll be buying it...)

  1. Intake (Unsure of which brand yet...)
  2. Catback (MBRP, but need to research more)
  3. Rear Motor Mount
  4. Cobb AP / Protune
  5. Charge piping (Mountune?)
  6. And more, hopefully!

Appreciate the welcome. :D

I've read that it drones a lot -- but, it sounds awesome! I won't be replacing the downpipe, but yeah.

I was considering either MAP (used their stuff on my Ecoboost Mustang) or MBRP... love their sounds. Love how, with MBRP, you can hear the turbo whistle through the exhaust lol

Yes it drones a lot! But I dont mind it, just go to a higher gear and it even it out. Well at most speed all I need to do is go up a gear. And going down the freeway at 70 MPH in 6 th gear no drone at all.
And you can always do a symposer delete. I have not done that yet.

Haven't done anything to the FiST other than some LED fog light projectors from TRS.. the driver's side was a PITA lol. Washer tank was right in the way...

I'll probably go MBRP Aluminized.

That Golf R looks nice man.
Thank you, sir! I have some more goodies coming for it (just a short throw shifter and some bushings) haha
