[Truth in Ruin]

I'm fairly new to this site; I've been going through a lot of threads about tunes that have been going on throughout the years. The information has been overwhelming, but it seems a good problem to have. I'm trying to read-up on this stuff as much as I can to figure what tune I want to go with when I'm ready.

Early on it was, Randy this, and now it's, Adam that; or the MP215 is the best OTS, and now it seems Stratified might have the best OTS. Needless to say, I'm now no closer to a decision than I was before I started research.

I'm still undecided... Any advice/opinions are welcome here. In the meantime, I'll keep researching. Thank you.

I'm new to the whole intercooled turbo, direct injected, 4 banger world, and YES, the vast range of OTS tunes/tuners, even for a completely stock FiST does seem overwhelming at times!

I wish that we could just put into a thread exactly what we are looking for, and have the tuners respond with their offerings. LOL

If your looking for a flash tune go with the stratified.

Stratified, DHM, Tune+, and Mountune seem to be the most popular and best results, ask them questions directly and go with who you like the best, really cant go too wrong here

Why is that? I just watched their comparison video of their tune vs the stock car on 91 and it's almost no different.

From what I've read their tune has better shifting, less rev hang than others. Also, it seems their tune has power later, and longer in the rev range in comparison to others.

I haven't gone thru all of the tune threads yet, but that's what I've seen so far.

Honestly that video is pathetic. No way I would spend $75 on that and idk why anyone would. Hopefully that isn't what their etunes are like because that is just trash.

I guess you're right but I just expected more. I hope the stage 1 Cobb OTS does a little more than that lol
