Like the title says looking for the best option for a 15x7. I have been looking and the best summer tire selection would be in the 205/50r15 size. With that there is a fairly significant difference in overall diameter. I am not looking to do any competitive driving just want a slightly more plush ride and to still have fun on the back roads. The plan is to get the tires and coils ready for a spring installation, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I ran 205/50/15 with same wheels and coilovers for 15k miles. No issues

Good to hear, was any rolling of the fenders required?

I've read/concluded you should be able to run a 15x7 et25 with a factory size tire without rub- close- but no rub, that's based off people who run spacers, lowered, etc. just my conclusions

Great to hear. Trying to narrow down what tires I want, below $120 per corner ideally.

I ran re71r's in that size all summer. Got over 10k miles on them and good amount of autocross. My favorite tire I have used.
