I'm selling my stock 17"x7" Fiesta ST alloys. They are in really good shape but not perfect (a few nicks here and there). Tires are BFGoodrich g-force sport comp-2s in a 205/40/17. These are summer performance tires. The tires are in really good shape with no flaws or vibrations. 7/32-8/32" tread depth left. Asking $650

That's a sweet cosworth. Did you import it or build from escort us model?
Thanks. I definitely miss it. It was 1 of about 20 officially imported by Sun International Racing back in the day. I was the 3rd owner: http://www.dudebrowtf.com/images/Cars/1995FordEscortRSCosworth/article3.jpg

The US escort shares only the name with the European Escorts so a conversion is impossible. It is a completely different car. Also, the Escort Cosworth is more Ford Sierra than it is MKV Escort so even a conversion using a standard European MKV would be near impossible. It's a fascinating homologation special and definitely recommend reading up on them. If I got another Cosworth, it would be a 3 door Sierra.

One of my FAVE cars of ALL time!! [twothumb]

Did it have any; Mountune, Graham Goode, or Boreham works Ford WRT parts on it?

I always wondered if one would be able to get away with putting a USDM Escort's VIN badge on one of those (especially in the much more lax inspection/registration states), since that was the OBD 1 era, with no plug-in to the ECM to give anything away. [???:)]

Of course, getting it off of the docks, or out of the airport, and home, would be almost impossible, especially nowadays (post 911). [:(]
