I also missed out on the exhaust. Was at work and found it then got home and they were all gone! Most disappointment I’ve experienced since buying the car [emoji24]

Yup. Just about all of it. The intake hose won't unless you adapt your evap line.
Or there is one that comes with the adapter for 16+ from mountune. Just ordered today and should be here tomorrow so here's hoping for no code lol.

Yes.

I ordered the MP215 from mountune for my '17. The AP identified my car as a '16, which was weird. I called mountune and talked to Randy Robles. He couldn't explain it. I suspect I was just sent an old kit. He did say that the tune is identical for all model years which makes sense. I went ahead and flashed it, and it's fine. 10,000 miles with no issues since then. Way more torque, and more top end hp. You can feel it. It even gets the same mileage.

I'm content with the tune and I'm not doing anything else. No plans for a hotter tune or big turbo. I don't want to sit there and play with an AP and multiple tunes. I just got the "scat pack." This baby's got the 4 barrel and a hood scoop!

If that's ALL you want to do, it's the best tune out there for an otherwise stock car. If you want to do more mods down the road, just get a Cobb AP and a custom tune for about the same money.

MagnetizeST posted who to talk to: "If anyone does want to order parts from the Ford Performance site you can contact Chris Yancey over at Autonation Ford White Bear Lake. They are listed on the FP site under vendors, you can contact him directly by email or call the store and ask for him. I can pm his email to anyone who is interested"

I didn't put my car on a dyno, but my butt dyno says this seems pretty accurate on 93 octane. View attachment 20318
I’m thinking about just getting the Mtune with a my own intake after the warranty is over. I already have a 2 inch or so cut out at the bottom of my air box. If it is all about air volume the intake hose/s are approximately the same size as the hole I cut out, so the affect should be similar. I will go with a high flow filter too. If I have problems with Smog which I doubt, I can just have a dealer load the stock tune. Or maybe as thought someone mentioned, I can just buy another AP and override the locked Mtune. Just my thinking...

You can flash it back to the stock tune but just so you know Koozy passed the ref on a tune. Its the dealer which you have to be concerned about Tune wise. Since you are here in LA you should go to Galpin for dealer service work. As they are a Ford Performance dealer so they are mod friendly.

Yes. I bought my car there. I will wait till the warranty expires so I don’t have install and uninstall the tune. Would u recommend any service advisors there? The last guy referred me to GAS because he did not know about that the tune.

That was a while ago he posted about it. i think it was a hood pop intake violation or something.

Just curious...was he aware that u had the tune when u brought that in for service? Or did he pop the question with u? Second, I saw that u use a Revo Foam Filter.. Is that similar to K&N filter that u have to clean it and oil it after certain amount of mileage? Do you think its better?

Thanks.

The foam filter whether you buy a Revo filter or even a Ramair both a cleaned by simply washing them. No need to clean or oil them.[woot]

Well there were a few doodads in the car that Suggested it was tuned . Like my Mountune badge which was in my center console. Also the person that referred me has a tuned car and I am pretty sure he knows that persons car is tuned as ithas even more mods than mine. Plus when you drive my car it burbles and pops on occasion. Lol Stock untuned cars do not do that. It also has a shit ton more torque than stock lol.

My completely factory tune, with the exception of a GFB DV, car DOES do that, because of the CP-E 3" system (I am told the Thermal, and most other 3" systems do as well). [wink]

It is now so prevalent, on the 'broken-in' Nexus system, that I fear installing any aftermarket 'pops and crackles' tunes in the future, as I would be constantly pulled over (and probably given a noise citation) by the gendarmes around here. LOL

Just curious... why the big price difference between the Revo filter and Ramair? Aren’t they similar products? Ones $70 and the other $40. Both come from the UK (Sold by Whoosh)

Revo is actually an ITG filter they are of much better quality than the Ramair. Not saying the Ramair are bad there just not the same quality

Contacted Performanceparts.ford.com and they told me the MP215 is tuned for 2013-2016 and on a 2019 will void your warranty. I guess I will wait till my warranty is up and get the Cobb kit: https://www.mountuneusa.com/COBB-V3-Accessport-ECU-Flasher-Fiesta-ST-p/ap3-for-001fa.htm
The MP215 tune is identical across all model years. The 2013-2016 model years have a Ford Racing Performance (FRP) Warranty that comes attached with the tune (the 2013 is for UK vehicles). Mountune basically worked out a deal with FRP....basically if any warranty issue arises the FRP limited warranty for 2013-2016 model years kicked in rather than the OEM Factory warranty. I don't think Mountune paid whatever fees were required to keep this program going through 2019 model years.

I had an MP215 installed immediately on my 2014 when new. The dealer had to install it, and then they registered the VIN with FRP for the warranty purposes. Car went from 175hp to 189hp.

I can't say enough good things about it. Ford left a lot on the table with the stock tune. The MP215 filled out the powerband and gave it some much-appreciated top end. Makes big torque at low speeds.

It'll work on any FiST, and it's a steal at that price. I really don't want any more power. If you do, get something else, but I'm really happy with it. It's the modern version of "Yeah, I got mine with the four barrel and the hood scoop."

EDIT: Looks like they sold them all.
