It has been an absolute pleasure being a part of this community. I had an offer I couldn't refuse for my car, so my father in law now has a nice weekend ride. He will take care of this car and will keep it pristine.

I drove home a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Limited from Nashville to Birmingham yesterday.

Shes a work in progress, but for me, only putting 200 miles or less a week on a car with a payment was hard hitting, having two kids in childcare.

I'll be lurking.. 20190820_070833.jpg

Sad to see another one go. At least you know it is going to an owner who's gonna take care of her down the line.
That's true. Steve is an odd bird. He will 9nly drive on weekends, keep the car stock and polished up at all times. Probably wont fart in it either.

Does it have that 4.0L straight six? If so, that thing's a beeeeeeast. Such a neat motor.

Congrats! Also be careful, that hood gets *hot* above the wheel arches.

Child care is a son of a gun I was almost in the clear but then the newest addition came along last December. It's like hitting the reset button.

Sorry to see ya go man but I'm sure the extra cash will feel great. Hope the jeep runs well for you.

If this was in response to me, I am not going anywhere, and will keep this car either until they put me into the ground (maybe even IN this car! LOL), there is no more fossil fuel available to run it on, or something totally destroys it! [wink] [driving]

Even if something destroys mine I already have plans to get another one.

Good luck! That is one clean XJ! I hope to have one of my own one day in that condition, but prices are rising quick on the clean ones. My dad had a super clean blue one years ago and that interior really brings back memories when I get back inside of one.

It is a clean ride for sure. And like most things this age, it needs some work. I had some cash left over and already have some on the way
