So I've had the Depo Racing catless downpipe on for about two weeks now. The pic's in post #260 by GateCityRadio are almost identical to the one I received and a few guys at work commented on it but it works perfect! Very nice gains on my butt dyno! spooling is much quicker and I notice a definite increase at the top. I didn't notice any increase in sound volume, but I do hear a nice rumble with a few mild pops and burbles. I like it alot! There is a bit of a smell when backing up, or at a light, but I knew that going in. Not a big deal for me, and my wife doesn't mind either. lol that's the big win!

Cobb AP now estimates torque at 298.

That's great to hear. I was hoping the increase in sound wasn't going to be too much. I'll have to wait and see about the smells. 298 torque! Daaaayum!

The depo downpipe really doesn't look bad for the price. The only thing I don't like is the quick transition bend after the turbo flange.

Did it come with the gasket and hardware?

The picture makes the bend look more pronounced than it is. Yes it came with everything pictured, gasket and hardware.

That is actually a good thing.
The straighter the pipe, the better the flow.

How many of you are running a 2j race dp with the de-fouler? I'm thinking about doing this but I am nervous about going catless.

Do you need to take it out for state 3 or was that just a personal preference?

Received the Depo Racing catless downpipe today. Welds look good and overall seems like a quality piece. For $179 I'm definitely happy!

you get this put on yet? If so what are your thoughts. I assume you will have to or have run a de-fouler so no codes are thrown?

I wish I wouldnt have seen how cheap these are cause now I want one

A de-fouler or tune will take car of it.

Pretty sweet deal. I thought when I bought my 2j racing dp a year and a half ago I thought it was a smoking deal at $249.

I don't have any tuners very local. Just the Cobb box tunes. So my concern was with that. De-fouler it is

Are people dynoing after these downpipes? What are people seeing as gains?

or at the least what are the butt dynos saying? Besides more noise are the power differences noticable?

I am looking for an excuse/justification to do a down pipe lol. The depo racing one is so cheap that it makes me 75% of the way to pulling the trigger. I just dont want a loud rice boy exhaust but the extra pep will be nice.

I notice Depo racing has a catted pipe as well hmmm. I just got an exhaust ordered will need to see how loud it is then I guess based on that I can make a downpipe choice
