It was an absolute beast to get installed, I had to spray my Whoosh cerakoted crossover with soapy water to slip 'er on but finally got it on there about 1.5" of engagement, so I can safely tighten the hose clamp. Now that the soapy water dried it is pretty well locked on there.

FIRST - sorry for how dirty my engine bay is, I haven't cleaned it thoroughly in a few days.

Here's where the mountune clippy.... "thing" sits in relation to where the hard-lines naturally want to wind up:

Here's how they sit when connected:

The left-side to intercooler hard line rests against the airbox, after driving ~20 miles it's already rubbed a shiny spot. Probably won't matter if I get a different intake/box, but for right now it rubs.
Anyone that's installed one of these, does that look about right? I don't see that there's a lot of adjustment to do to make the mountune 1-2 thingy for the 2016+ sit differently.

I installed mine about a week ago and the EVAP connections definitely sit differently then the Stock induction hose. I'll have to look to see if it's rubbing and sitting as yours is.

I will snap a pic of mine today yours does look odd, perhaps try and pull back and take a full shot of the hose connections on the crossover pipe?

This is how mine are sitting. The evap hose on the right is just barely not touching my intake, but very close. IMG_20190829_100801.jpg MVIMG_20190829_100819.jpg

Hmmm, I just installed this recently too and my only issue I had was getting the upgraded and heat wrapped crossover end on good, my hose is still slightly kinked on that end as it didn't want to go much more than 3/4" overhang to barely clamp down safely.

I used a spray bottle of dish soap + water to spray on the crossover first, it really helped but was still a beast to get on there!

Ok so it looks like your left-most one rests on the airbox, too. Maybe it's normal. I'll see if I can't contact mountune customer support just for clarification.

Yes, I am picky :p

I have the woosh crossover too, it was tight but popped on with out any liquid....evap hose is certainly more "bent" from the way it was originally. It's funny how everyone has different issues with installs. What is easy for others is a pain to me, or the exact opposite.....same car, many times the same parts!! My intercooler was a PITA but so many others said "it was super easy and fit perfectly".....I ground the shit out of my front clip and still had to reef it to get the bolts to line up. My powerfelx engine mount reverberates through the whole car and so many others say they barely notice a difference. The crossover pipe took literally 10 minutes to install and I did not remove the cowl...

The mounts can be a bit weird. Usually I notice no vibes from the powerflex but every now and again. Like it'll be strong for a few seconds then go away.

Vibes from the powerflex mount are more pronouced at higher idle. I notice it a bit when its like 95 and my air is on and the engine is idling at 1k due to the electric fan running.

Just buy a 2015 Evap line. It’s pricey, but worth it. ;)
Rather have the lines look correct than look like it got swapped in from an earlier year. Like my pics show if one installs the hose right the lines clear the intake box no problem.
I am completely happy with the setup and have no problems and spent less time installing this hose than I would have messing with putting in the 2015 evap lines thank you.

Mine looks the same. It was also a pain in the ass to get on my woosh crossover pipe. I used silicone spray and just lubed the pipe. It took a little finness...

Did yours also quiet your crossover pipe? I think the engine sounds louder but the intake whooshing sound is less

B96BDF42-2DA6-4E3D-A6D9-02715188C90C.jpeg I first tried the MountuneUSA induction hose, but have found the MountuneUK SAMCO hose fits better. The SAMCO has more of a factory fit and feel to it. It was much easier to install. I also think the older evap line looks cleaner with less hose under the hood. I’m curious why Ford changed the design, was it a factor of cost? With all that said I would buy the MountuneUSA adaptor, but they don’t sell it separate.
