After watching your vid now I want an ITG Maxogen intake. As I know it will not be as obnoxius as the 2j but will give me more noise. Also I agree on the extreme pop.
That video's not with an ITG, I haven't ordered one yet.
It's stock airbox, drop in filter, mountune intake hose, and whoosh cerakote crossover.
Need to update my sig but I keep changing things.

Oh wow, I think the low pop might be the way to go... the loud one is a bit much as you said in your video.
I just drove my car today after all my boltons and full solid mounts... the car's NVH is through the roof. are you on solid mounts?

Thank you so much for the video, helped me decide on what to go for when i have the option.

I had an AWR rmm and it was way too loud for me so I went to a Cobb. I have the poly inserts for the upper mounts but have not had time to install. I did notice that incorrectly torquing the rmm could make things really loud.

I knew it was not the ITG I though it was the 2J as I have the pretty much the same setup as you except ST200 box and thermal and I swear my car does not sound as loud as yours. But you can here my blowoff more than yours and I am on the stock diverter valve. Of course I am running a Mountune hotside charge pipe.

i forgot about my hotside pipe lol - i have the whoosh one lol

the sound was pretty distorted anyways because the mics were set to "high" so that might be part of it. the built in mic is a little pinhole one, so it has a hard time catching "subtle" sounds. since mine is on the turbosmart right now it doesn't blow off nearly as frequently, there's just a gentle flutter at times unless theres any real boost built. I swear the stock one opens when its still under vacuum

I don't think its torquing, I have a good amount of experience with that.. but ill double check next time I am in there- i went with ford specs as recommended and 160ft/lb for the pass side thru bolt. The mounts I am using are TTR's Pass and trans mount and CPE RMM- all known to be NVH monsters. Everthing is torque to spec, at one point i was only running CPE RMM and only really had NVH issues at around 1300-1600rpm, basically non-issue.

ahhh yeah you kinda did that to yourself :p

I had to ditch the AWR because it vibrated at the perfect frequency to make some old surgical scars hurt, it was really weird until I realized what it was... like "man, every time I drive the damn fist I feel like hammered doodoo, wtf..."
