Has anyone successfully attached some fiber optic trim to their ambient lights - so the trim changes color along with the interior ambient lighting?

Looking at something like this:
https://www.xkglow.com/catalog/prod...beNwA52vFQblqvnfEAaYBSq4cunGg8vwaAgeZEALw_wcB

Wondering if it's going to be a pain to properly attach it to the LEDs in the floorspace and if doing so will block out some of the lighting on the floor.
Or any other fun ideas to connect to the ambient lighting.

I volunteer as tribute.
I ordered a cheaper Chinese alternative. Will take forever to arrive, but will try to post results.

I guess different strokes for different folks. I'm here trying to figure out how to easily map a button to shut off the in car screen to help night-time visibility - brain just doesn't accept the idea of adding *more* interior light to reflect off the glass lol

drive safe

you do all of the above with an arduino or teensy, bluetooth interface board, and some led driver boards if you really wanted to do it yourself.
