Sold

First off at the moment these are pickup only in Sheboygan Wisconsin. I’m very busy at moment and would like to avoid shipping........

These have been custom valved and degassed by proparts. They are valved for a stock spring and best for a competitive hs fiesta st or a setup running stock springs. They ride slightly rough in colder temps and don’t suck up bigger cracks like a gassed strut would. Have never been used in winter. They are dirty and have typical wear. . Have shock dyno papers also. Only asking a fraction of what cost new. Was very impressed with this setup but moved on to sth class.

Sounds like a perfect setup for someone wanting to run in the stock class of Solo II.

Could you specify what rate were those valved to, and can you adjust compression and rebound ?

Thanks so much

Andres

Proparts valved them to work with the stock spring rates. They are single adjustable and degassed. I felt these really helped compared to off the shelf konis. Car was so neutral with these.

Excuse me , single adjustment to compression or rebound? or simultaneous ? 3k or 4k rate?
Thanks so much

Andres

Rebound as msport has said. I thought the degassed part and shafts not being extended would explain some. They are valved for 14- mid 16 spring rates. I also ran them on my 17 and they behaved great. Again imo and others that drove my car comparing to off the shelf konis these had the edge.

When Koni Sport yellows are designated single adjustable, they are ALWAYS rebound only. [wink]
I know they come factory for rebound , but they can be modified, that is why I asked since it was not described at the beginning.
From Proparts page:
" It means you can:
      • Buy KONI shocks and struts from ProParts USA built to your unique specifications and requirements.
      • Have your KONI shocks and struts converted to single- or double-adjustables.
      • Convert your adjustable KONI shocks and struts from internal to external adjustments.
      • Dyno test your shocks and struts to be sure they stay at peak performance.
      • Get your shocks or struts custom valved to better perform for your race application. " Thanks Andres

^^^OK, gotcha. [:)]

I did not think that anybody would even attempt to make these compression adjustable as well, if they came from the factory as rebound only.

But I guess it's not too far fetched, since I had a set of their double adjustable yellows on my '00 Z28 (with a Ground Control coil over conversion kit on them), from back when Koni was still making double adjustable dampers. [wink]

Bump for a badass setup. I had the best year out of 6 years autocrossing the fiesta platform on these. This was the most confident feeling setup I have had on the fist. They are a proven setup and not some hodgepodge bs.

To be really fair, I called this afternoon, either the guy did not know sh.. or they wrote the wrong info in the webpage and he does not know; he said the cannot make them double adjustable, he said he could raise up the rate, but the adjustment would be only for rebound. So Jason stands right apparently.
