I got really lucky. I just bought a brand new FiST in Feb. It is a 2018. White tri-coat with recaros. It had been sitting on their lot for a year and a half. It was not listed on any site like cars.com, only their website. They didn't even bother to mark it down from the original price, which was $26,000. I accidentally stumbled across it while looking at a used one on a sister dealer's website. When I called them to inquire about it they said that they still had it, but the best they could do was $25,000. I declined, but later they called me back and said the owner wanted to get rid of it and they would sell it for $20,500. Needless to say, I bought it. Was probably the laziest thing I've seen from a dealer. Unless you were looking for it on their website or saw it on their lot, you wouldn't have known it was there.
Congrats man thats a pretty damn good deal for Tri Coat paint and Recaro’s. Even though its 2 years old but new as hard as it is to get them now you did good. IMO

Yeah, I wish I would have tried to get them lower on price. However, I had just lost out on a new one. Was literally going to buy it Monday morning and someone bought it Sunday night.

About 30 cars left now and like the above post, who knows what the real number is.

There is a Ford internal discount of $3,000. A dealer in Bakersfield told me and since Ford as for now dropped it's rebates for the car; they might bring them back but who knows.

So you still have no bought one?

When I perused the listings a couple of days ago I noticed a couple of dealers now listing prices a couple of thousand higher than MSRP.

No not yet. I am still looking, I have a better pre-approval. I think the crisis will push prices down further, some estimates have sales dropping 40%

I tried to buy what I believe is the last Recaro Seat/Navigation/Moonroof car in the country from Bill Pierre Ford. They sold it the same day I inquired about it (about 5 days ago).

Mine just got declared a total loss.. only 8920 miles on it.. still owe $9k and no one is covering the difference. Kinda bit that bullet on gap insurance.
If you don’t mind me asking what are they valuing your car at. A car like yours should be pulling around 15k value wise for the mileage.

Hell yeah. Love stories like that. Especially that it had the Recaros. Congrats.

So I got rear ended by a commercial truck, haha.. certainly not the best scenario for these cars. I have TONS of pictures here if you guys wanna see all that was involved.

They valued my car at roughly $19k or something, I'm not sure. I just know I'll be buying it back and building it a lot harder than before.
