G'day Guys and Girls,

Since posting Youtube videos I thought I should share the car from the start until today.

2016 Fiesta ST 2 door. The Aussie Fiesta ST is something like an ST2 in Europe without the choice to option up.

I negotiated the Mountune MP215 kit into the drive away price and that's where the power level sits for now. With yhe 5 year Ford factory warranty running out in November 2021.

I planned on keeping it standard but as is the way with car enthusiasts you always want to personalise your car so this is where we are today.

I enjoyed the car as a daily driver for around 18 months before anything was changed. The seats and harsher ride took a couple of months to get used to but the fun factor was incredible. With warranty in mind there weren't any big changes in mind.

Being a Ford optioned Mountune upgraded car, I wanted all of my upgrades to be Mountune however I would learn that shipping from England to Australia, plus the fact Mountune parts generally cost a little more than other brands meant personalising the car was a little slow going.

First on the list was the silicone intake pipe to compliment the MP215 lower airbox and K&N panel filter.

Interior touches were next being the Mountune floor mats/boot mat and leather gear shift gaiter. It took a while but Mountunes Symposer delete was next. It may have been a placebo effect and although I wasn't expecting any performance changes I did feel the throttle response to improve.

I was pleased with this for a while and the looked very standard from the outside aside from tinted windows and Climair weather shields.

I decided I wanted a new set of wheels and set about researching what would suit the little 2 door hatch. There wasn't a lot of options I liked in 108x4 but most were pointig towards a multispoke rally style wheel such as Oz Racing and Sparco. A made a decision on the Oz Racing Superturismo LM in Matte Graphite in 17x7.5+40 then had thrm wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Nero GT. A suitable replacement for the standard tyres but no upgrade.

Back to the Mountune store and I purchased the Mudflaps by Rally Armor. These got fitted up and I really started to like the look from the outside.

I briefly fitted a J1 MAF sensor adapter and K&N pod filter, although I liked having turbo noises back after a few previous turbo cars I wasn't a fan of the hot air intake.

I moved onto the lighting. I purchased the complete Autobeam performance kit and proceeded to upgrade every bulb. The standard low beams weren't very good.

I added some Gel badges from DMB Graphics in the UK to personaluse the car some more which I am very pleased with.

I had the car detailed with paint correction and Gtechniq Crystal Syrum Light ceramic coating and had the car looking amazing for the All Ford Day 2019. 20171211_205711.jpg 20180728_121120.jpg 20180922_114529.jpg 20181117_173734.jpg 20181215_101735.jpg FB_IMG_1549782592912.jpg 20190519_135317.jpg 20200603_083006.jpg 20200328_134513.jpg 20200328_090948.jpg

I started to look back to some early performance upgrades and back to the Mountune store I went. The Rear Motor Mount was the pick.

Brakes were next and I got some DBA (Aussie brand) T3 4000 series slotted front discs, Forza FP3 front pads, HEL braided lines all round and Motul RBF600 fluid. This completely took away the inconsistent spongey feel. Rhe perdormance on track was brilliant also with no fade and did everything I needes of them.

Mountune/Eibach Springs were next as well as Powerflex rear spring upper isolator bushes. This lowered the car nicely and although helped with the ride under 60km/h was worse on slightly harsher bumps.

A couple of Red5 Carbon Fiber interior parts were next with the Mountune logo gear knob cap and inner door handles.

The latest mod to date is a short shifter from OEM Denied/Focus on Performance which is a Queensland based company. The kit was a fairly basic install for a nice gain from a drivers perspective.

I continue to enjoy the car 4 years since buying new and starting to think about what is needed for stage 2, downpipe with sports cat and upgraded intercooler.

Hi, Fordy Ford. I've followed your videos for quite a while.
You've done some nice mods, and I've enjoyed watching you track it.
Wish we'd have gotten a 3 door here, but that wasn't in the cards. They look so sporty.

Those wheels look GREAT on the blue 2 door! [thumb]

I have never seen those floor mats for sale anywhere at all, does Mountune still offer them?
Mountune UK sell them and were selling in both rhd and lhd for the Euro market 😉. Sold out atm but keep this link handy or sign up for their back in stock email reminder.

Thanks for the support. Happy to hear you are enjoying the videos. It's such a fun car, probably more so on the road than track but either way I give it an 11/10 lol.

They are the base seats in other countries. The partial leathers are an option. The ST200 also got all black partial leather Recaros.
The variety of different base equipment always amazed me on the mk7. I guess Ford was trying to market it best for each region? Also learned that Australia just got the mk8 for 2020, so I'll continue to look on with envy from the land of crossovers.

As long as you don't turn on the orange side markers. Somehow it's a thing around here to turn it on even though it looks horrid and not required by law. But fancy cause it's not stock and foreign looking.

But a seriously good looking specimen you got there ;)

Thanks guys. Ford Australia take ages to release a new Euro car like this as they want to sell one particular spec. The Mk7 we only got a 2 door and is around an ST2 without any options. They finally started selling the Mk8 in May 2020 which we only get in a 4 door model. I did a review on the Mk8 and looks to be the Euro ST3 spec with performance pack - LSD, PS4 tyres, Launch control, heated seats, heated steering wheel, heated windscreen but we can't opt for a cheaper option.

I'm not sure what you mean by orange side markers. Indicators?
