Need more information. I'd like to run a svt replica rim off an old Stang. Looking to run 245 tires. Any of you guys dabbled in oversized rims and tires? What problems did you face with rub and where? What did you have to trim? Looking for good detailed posts. Tell me your info! Thanks.

Also details about your setup will be helpful. I may need to copy it seeing as many people aren't running this wide a tire and the aftermarket is kind of lack.

the only person on here I know of is Raamaudio. I know he ran 15x9 with somer serious rolling and pulling and metal finessing. Its not easy unless you go flares.

I believe that he also cambered the rear axle stubs a bunch, long before you, or anyone else, ever offered plates for the back.

I wonder if you could run a 245/40R15 on a 15x8 Dekagram without any rub? They are a popular Miata size for autocross and are actually shorter than the 225/45's. BFG Rivals state minimum width is 8" so it will work but wonder if it would rub the strut or not......hmmmmmm.

Maybe but it's been really frustrating. I did end up settling on rpf1s in 17x7 with a 225 in front 215 in rear for now. But I can't do pulls in anything but 4th or I get spin lol so eventually we will have to cross this bridge but as of yet, I'm not at the point where it needs to be done now. I'll be honest, I'm probably gonna have to get some custom forged rims cuz we are so limited. If I go that route I can get a custom offset too to have them sized perfectly

I believe Raamaudio had a 4x100 6UL wheels 15X9 setup under stock fenders but he had to work quite a bit before it was fully functional without rubbing. You can find his posts but I think there's no pictures or not much to check what he have done.

He has 4x100 15x9 Konig Dial In’s on the car. under heavily rolled and pulled fenders. plus 2 degree’s of negative camber as well as trimmed inner metal work.
