I notice that the UK Fiesta ST gets a couple different interior pieces compared to the US version. Different gear shift bezel and also the door panels look totally different where then interior handles and window controls are. Most likely because of bigger doors being only 2 side doors.

I would love to get that shifter bezel. Any UK guys have part #'s?

The dash top also looks different, as the side window air vents are of a different design, along with a couple other little differences like headlight controls, air vents, glove box, etc

UK

USA

On closer look, the whole dash, glove box, center channel with air controls and all are totally different! Must be different leg crash regs or something?

The UK version looks more low profile than ours.

The headlight controls are different because the UK requires front and rear fogs. I had to have a rear fog wired to my NA car to pass MOT here, but removed it as soon as the car passed. The tiny sync screen on the UK cars (instead of our nicer touch screen) has an affect on the shape of the dash too.

The US doesn't have auto folding mirrors because the US generally doesn't need or have use for them. Europe, on the other hand, has narrower roads where it is a good idea to fold the mirrors:

If I didn't have my windows tinted, I might have been interested in an auto-dimming mirror. But, with 5% on the rear window, there is no point to it.

If I had auto wipers or headlights, the auto setting would be turned off permanently. I want to control my own stuff at my own discretion. This is part of driving, sportier cars should have manual controls.... save the auto stuff for luxury sedans. I also don't need some sensor to tell me how to parallel park this tiny easy-to-park hot hatch.

The only thing that NA cars should have that don't is the projector headlights.
I dont agree with you. I have a 35% tint, and the auto dimming mirror still makes a huge difference.

The auto headlights are handy when you drive into a underground car park, less chance of some nobb running into you. I like the folding mirrors, one look and I know my car is locked.

My wife's Kia Optima Turbo has the auto dimming rear view mirror and I hate it. It doesn't get dim enough for me and when someone is behind with high beams on or some fool is compensating for their tiny penis in a jacked up pickup and I go blind. At least with a manual mirror I can flip the switch and get a properly dimmed view.

Maybe 35% isn't dark enough, but in the years since I started putting dark tints on my rear windows, I have noticed that headlight glare is no longer an issue. Ever. I don't even think about it, bright lights behind me are just not there. There is never a need to adjust my rear view mirror.

According to official figures, the ST-2?s economy and CO2 emissions figures have been carried over unchanged, at 47.9mpg and 138g/km respectively.
Doesn't the UK get the same 1.6L EcoBoost we do here in the states? Why such a difference in MPG?

So I am part way there.

Yes same motor. The UK MPG ratings are numerically different because they use a different system. They use metric *imperial gallons*. 1 US gallon = .83 Imperial gallons.

However the same engines get pretty much the same MPG when you do the conversion.

Just like octane rating. 100 octane *RON* = roughly 93 octane *AKI* (USA)

Thank you very much for the clarification!

Just picked up my ST this week in Australia (Frozen White) and it came pretty much as described in the ST-3 package. Only difference is it comes with silver brake calipers not red. It took 5 months to arrive from the time I ordered it, only cars that had been pre ordered from Ford dealers arrived in this shipment from Germany, not many at all, so it should keep the value in our cars over here, as they are quite a rare site, my car is the only one I have seen on the road, since they were released at the end of last year in Australia.
