Where’d Ma Boost Go?!

Driving this afternoon, I can only hit 15 and change max boost. It was perfectly fine yesterday afternoon. Just sat overnight.

I have an analog boost gauge and under load when it’s supposed to hit full boost it bounces around, then in the higher revs when the boost would normally taper off it settles a bit.

I haven’t been under the car yet to trouble shoot but I was thinking maybe boost hoses?

My mods are listed in my sig. My car has been running perfectly for months.

Got under there and checked and snugged all the charge pipe hose clamps / T-bolt clamps. None were loose but I got some turns on some, maybe a few a full turn. Checked all the vacuum tubing on the BPV and WGA (all fine) and finally reloaded the Dizzy tune. Test drive and boost was fine now. I saw 24.95 max and many times I’ll see over 26 but I realize max will vary based on conditions.

So anyway 🤷‍♂️. I’ve read threads of people popping boost hoses but mine have been fine for months now so figued mine were ok? Or If it was tune related, I don’t see how my tune would have been removed. Glad it’s alright though.

Damn, I have the same problem but I haven't tried reloading the tune, I hope to God that that's the case because my friggin ride has been running peachy nearly since the S280 install.

Mine was simply the hose clamps on the hot side boost pipes. At the time I had just the whoosh elbow and whoosh boost hoses. I now have the whoosh hot side full piping. I still snug the hose clamps every time I’m under there.

Hey thanks man. Gonna go over everything in a minute and try to reload my tune to see if that might help. 🤞
