I added a FSWERKS Short Shift kit and this piece just below it is loose. Not sure how to reconnect or if I need to order a replacement. But I have no idea what it is.

Thanks.

This is a web forum to share information and discuss a common platform or topic. Specifically, this forum is to discuss the Ford Fiesta ST.

True. But what does this have to do with the original post? Can you see "this piece" which is loose?

A picture of the part would be helpful.
My bad. I thought I added it back. I was trying to move this post to a more appropriate location. Anyway, I added it.

Cap next the shifter. I added the FSWERKS Short Shift kit and this guy was just sitting in there. I couldn't get it to screw back in. I had to put the car back together temporarily \(o.o)/
