Transmission Disassembly Question, Need info ASAP

Long story short my synchros are fried in my Puma Speed transmission, so I am going to throw the stock unit back in for now.

I want to pop the case to give it a look over before installing.

Can I split the case and just re-seal the halves (RTV) or will anything need to be replaced after splitting the case?

Looking to do this ASAP, 2 weeks until my next track day, other transmission is already out, so any info is greatly appreciated.

The manual says to toss the case bolts, anyone know if they are TTY or is it just due to the factory loctite?

I'm fairly certain it's just the locktite which you can add some more of. They are not TTY bolts to my knowledge and reading the forum a few others have mentioned this as well

As far as i can remember the sealant isn't an RTV its and anaerobic sealant.

Correct, however my transmission from Puma Speed used RTV and sealed just fine, so I'm going to roll with that for now. Yeah, its a bit blown up at the moment, but that was just due to some abuse on my part. Didn't have any issues with leaks. Plus throwing my stock unit back in is just temporary while I rebuild or get my other unit rebuilt.
