so if I buy it other than catback I really don't need a tune maybe do one that Cobb one is expensive
I don't think you need a tune, but I think if you get one this intake can be beneficial because of the extra cold air flow.

There is also the drop-in aFe washable, but DRY, NOT oiled, panel filter.

No idea if it even claims to flow any better than the Motorcraft factory cellulose deal, let alone if it actually does or not.
I second the aFe dry flow drop in filter. Claims to slightly better, and offers almost the filtration of your average paper filter (not as good as OEM/high quality, but better than “budget” auto parts store crap)

Cleaning is dead simple. Spray it with air filter cleaner or just soap and water, and then flush it backwards with low pressure hose. Let dry and drop back in. No messing with oil spray or filter oil leaking into the intake. No throwaway filters. It’s basically the reusable low-maintainance filter I always wanted even if didn’t flow better than stock
