what's the best chippy in town? Saw a news report on how the chippy is starting to become extinct in the UK, most of the fish coming from overseas and a proper portion in some places is 15 pounds! And that wasn't just in London.
I haven't been back since my parents passed away, so a lot of things have changed. All the chippies used to be owned by Italian families who settled there after WW2. The two I remember are the two closest to the railway station, one across the road and the other about a minute's walk west of there run by a Filipino family. I think it's on the corner of Chalybeate St if my memory serves me right. Give my regards to Alex!
Great coverage on the rally but I was really pissed off that the Welsh crews had the Union Jack on their cars instead of the Welsh dragon. Other countries were displaying their country's flags, so why not the Welsh one?

Whenever Manxman Dave Higgins competes, he has the three human running legs, Isle Of Man symbol next to his name on the car, despite his home being a 'British Isle'.

The Isle of Man is not a country. Wales is!

yes that was strange they don't display the flag? Same with Elfyn Evans somewhat. He has it on his helmet, on the car roof, on his hat (I tried DESPERATELY to find that cap, could only find the one with the union jack and it cost me 100 bucks to get it sent from GR Germany!!!) but they don't display it on the television coverage next to his name. What gives?

Try contacting Gwyndaf Evans, Elfyn's dad. He has a car dealership in Dolgellau in N. Wales. He might be able to help.

Yeah, I've already commented on many of his videos, and yes, I tend to agree with him on his loathing of space frames for Rally 1 (and now maybe even Rally 2 with the new screwy FIA regs for 2027??).

In FULL agreement with him on his opinion that Rally 1 should be close to current Rally 2 specs just with more aero and power (less restrictor, or even none) to make the difference and ensure greater speed/spectacle.

Where I totally DISagree with him is his belief that the factory unibody Puma platform can be made into a competitive Rally 2 entry.
