In honor of Merica, I just installed the Cobb rear motor mount. It took longer to find a good position for the jack under the car than the actual install. All in all about 15 minutes total. SUPER easy!

The mount made a huge difference in how the car launches and feels during shifts. No more wheel hop and no more occasional banging between 1st and 2nd. There is some added vibration from the engine when idling that the stock mount absorbed. But it is not bad at all and you only notice it when you're idling. Definitely worth living with.

Pleased so far and would definitely recommend it as a must, even if you don't plan to heavily mod your ST.

Cheers!

Good job! While I wait for mountune to settle thing I've been focusing on daily driver mods. So I have the ap, rmm, and soon to be installed quickshift. I think I can stop there and be happy if carb never happens

The COBB RMM has reduced the 'banging', but if you dump the clutch hard enough it will 'bang' going from 1st into 2nd gear, just not as bad. Still way better than stock.

Let me know how you like the quick shift. Been looking at that myself.

I have the same problem, when I jack up the car, at work. Have to pretty much put the jack in the perfect spot to be able to jack up the car and set the jackstand next to it.

The added vibes will come down as the mount breaks in. I bought mine used, but the only time I notice it now is when the AC is on and the car isn't warmed up. Beyond that almost nobody would know it's installed if the rode in my car-definitely highly recommended!

Went to FSwerks this morning and had the quickshift kit installed. They guys were quick and nice. Shifting feels great, range of motion seems more ergonomic to me. its a good buy (on sale) but who knows maybe someone will come out with a cheaper shifter plate later on.

So the slight idle vibrations this mount added have disappeared as the mount has broken in over the last couple hundred miles. Even with the AC on and sitting still there's nothing.

One of the best mods I've done so far, besides the AP.

I have installed my Cobb RMM last week really happy of the result!!

The installation is really easy.

I have the same comment of you MoltenFiST the mount made a huge difference in how the car launches and feels during shifts. No more wheel hop. :) The shifting between the gear is just better!!

There have only one negative point is the added vibration from the engine when idling that the stock mount absorbed. But it is not bad at all and you only notice it when you're idling. Definitely worth living with.

Good Product Cobb!!!

I am happy to see that after a time the vibration lower a little bit.
