Can you remove the turbo from under the car?

I currently have the whoosh hybrid and am considering switching to the S280 not because I want more power but because I need to find something to do more or less. When I installed the hybrid I messed up one of the exhaust studs and I ran the tap in there and it went in fine but if I could avoid removing the exhaust manifold again to swap turbos then id be more inclined to pull the trigger on it. Just not sure if its even possible? Sure it wouldnt be easy at all but I also have alot of time off from work coming up in September so just weighing my options

Its perfectly doable from below.

I have installed/uninstalled/re-installed an S280 from underneath.

Only issue I have had, is despite how much a plan ahead and cap/elevate the various lines and fittings, I always get coolant dripped on me (this new stuff tastes awful).

It can be a bit tricky to get both arms in there (1 to lift/hold the turbo, the other to get a nut started on the rearmost turbo to manifold stud), but is doable. You may need to pull the downpipe for more space (I'm unsure because each time a was in there I had to pull the downpipe for other reasons.

Also, do yourself a favor a pre-install the oil feed line onto the S280 before putting it up into place. And remember you need to clearance the block a little for the S280 compressor housing to fit.
