extracting contacts MAF connector

Managed to damage the locking tab on the MAF connector. Hit Pick and Pull and scored a connector, base Fiesta not ST.

Connector is the same but wire locations are different so can't splice it. Anyone de-pinned one of these?

Figured it out, but not before damaging the connector.

Remove the cap and rubber grommet from the back of the connector. Remove the red insert from the front. Insert tool of choice (jewelers screwdriver, safety wire, paper clip) from the front to release contact.

After damaging connector, realized I only needed the locking tab. Cut it out of the donor connector and replaced in mine.
