Car was running like shit. Kinda chasing the gremlin. I replaced the fuel pressure sensor, no joy. Replaced the MAP sensor and cleaned the MAF sensor. The high pressure fuel pump was replaced about 18 months ago. Car seems to be idling ok now but the RPM did dip to around 600 rpm for a moment. Gotta test drive. If I still have issues, do y'all have any ideas whats next?

Here's what I get for P018D:

Main Causes
    • Faulty fuel pressure sensor reporting a bad reading
    • Damaged, frayed, or corroded wiring and loose electrical connectors
    • Open circuit or lack of proper ground/reference voltage
    • Rare failure of the powertrain control module (PCM)
Quick Fix Steps
    • Check the electrical plug at the fuel pressure sensor for dirt, water, or loose pins.
    • Test the 5-volt reference wire and ground path using a digital multimeter.
    • Replace the fuel pressure sensor if the wiring and voltage check out fine.
