Hey,

Is it possible to bore the 1.6 out to a 2.0 and re sleeve the block? I'm trying to determine if we share a block with the 2.0 eco boost engine or not. Would be pretty neat to have a 2.0 forged ecoboost in a fiesta st.

The 1.6 ecoboost is 79mm bore x 81.4mm stroke. It would take a whole lot of boring and a bigger crank..

Easiest solution would be to find out if the 2L block in the FoST is compatible with our cylinder head. Find a 2.0 short block and go from there.

I always have dreams all 4cyl ecoboost motors being built with the same general design. Imagine getting 2.3 mustang motor in a fiesta *drool*

Pretty sure the 1.6 and the 2.0/2.3 are completely different designs
