Interested in a MY16 Fiesta with 450 miles at 18,950$, been doing research and from what i researched FiST are pretty mechanically stout. Just wanted to get some insight on how you like your ST so far, pros/cons are greatly appreciated. However i hear of problems with transmission whine and eventually the tranny failing, is this still an issue? The FiST will primarily be a daily driver with maybe some upgrade(suspension/engine) down the road. Last time i owned a ford was in the 90s with the Contour SVT and that was a fun car. Im excited but before i pull the trigger im interested in what the ST community has to say, thank you and have a Happy New Year!

$18,950 is a good price, but if you want options like the recaro seats or nav you might have to spend a little bit more

Bought mine about a month ago and have loved every single mile I've driven in it so far

Bought mine (2016, magnetic with Recaros and navigation) just under a month ago and I absolutely love it.

Pros: good gas mileage, standard 6-speed, incredibly fun daily driver, handles well, gobs of low-end torque, same power to weight ratio as the E30 M3
Cons: Some of the interior bits feel cheap (but this car is just a Fiesta with a performance drive-train)

What are the options on the car your looking at. Price seems fair but what all does it come with?

I read in another forum there was a batch of early 2014s with the potential tranny and clutch problems. Mine falls within those build dates but I've experienced no problem so far good (knock on wood). I can't find the link to that thread otherwise I'd include it. 11000 miles, no problems, and loving it.
