Hey everybody, just picked up my new to me 2014 Fiesta ST earlier today with 96,000 miles on it that is bone stock aside from a Spec stage 3 clutch. I also own a 1991 Nissan Skyline GTR that I use as a fast street/show car and the Fiesta is going to become my dedicated track car. I was looking for something cheap, quick and fun and after driving a Fiesta ST I found exactly what I was looking for. I'll be pulling the carpet, rear seat, trunk material and spare tire/jack out initially to take some weight down and I've got some parts on order for a basic track brake, suspension, AP package.

As I mentioned, it has an R-Title due to a front end collision in which the hood, bumper, radiator and headlights were damaged and needed replaced. The previous owner installed the "RS" bumper at that time and the fitment and paint on it are terrible so I'll work on the fitment and just send it but the hood was bent pretty badly and they just bent it back, bondo'd it and sprayed it. Probably going to be in the market for a replacement hood(maybe carbon fiber).

Race Red
Recaros
Spec Stage 3 Clutch
"RS" Front Bumper
Crumpled Hood

It's too dark for pictures now so I'll snap some tomorrow once I get it off the trailer.

That's awesome, congrats! I bought a totaled 2014, repaired it myself, and got a salvage title. Same thing, all out track build. Check out my build thread and let me know if you have any questions!

Here are the pictures from the FS ad. I'll be continuing this story in the build section.

Always have mixed feelings about the RS style bumper. Looks nice but the rest of the car doesn't flow with it

Ihate it and I’m actively pursuing a replacement. It looks and feels cheap and this one in particular is not attached correctly.

Yeah it's known to need some work before being mounted but to me it just looks like a basking shark or some other gaping maw.

Welcome to the club, though, hope you find the replacement easily enough!

Nice find! For a track car I'd just leave the RS bumper. It doesn't look that bad and if you happen to damage it when going off track that will be a good time to search for a replacement.

And clean up the headrest--that's disgusting!

It's barely attached, the only OEM attachment points that are holding it on are the 3 bolts inside the fender on each side. The guy tried to shoot drywall screws through the top of it to secure it to the radiator support. I have a CAPA OEM bumper on the way, the last thing I want is for a bumper to come off and go under the car causing further damage or sending me off the track. I won't be buying the grills or even painting it; it's getting installed and driven.

Got it, that makes sense given the drywall screw attachment. The crap people do to their cars is unbelievable...

Welcome to the machine. I'm not far and looking for some of what you ripped out. I'll be in Leesburg this weekend. DM me.
