2018 sync3 w/sony. is there a sony amp?

Does the Fiesta ST with sony sound and sync 3 has an external sony amp?
if so where is it located?

There is no external amplifier, just a small internal to power the door speakers. If you peruse the audio section there are plenty of write-ups to add an after market amplifier or amplified sub via a LOC (line output converter).

I know how to add an external amp. my question was in regards of a sony external amp like the one the focus st w/sony has from factory. Now that I know there is no external amp for the FiST I can look for a plug to upgrade my system. I personally hate really hate tapping into the factory harness. I rather try to source a "male and Female" plugs (behind the radio) and tap into them....
