3Dr RHD AP cable routing

Sorry - I know this won't apply to many people here. Struggling to work out the best way to arrange my accessport cable (Mountune/Cobb - it's the same AP and cable). Thing is the vehicle connector for the cable is under a plastic door which opens downwards just above the bonnet/ hood release. The plug on the AP cable is so large the plastic door won't close with it connected. And being RHD the door hangs down in the way of my right knee - not terribly safe for driving! I expect the LHD connector door is above the dead pedal area and hence no problem.

So for all you RHD ST owners with APs out there how did you solve this??

get a different cable from cobb that is right angled. They have a few versions.
