Hey guys
Always wondered this
Please note I do not do this and do not recommend anyone to
If your vehicle never uses anti freeze or oil but you drive around on anti freeze on minimum and oil on minimum does this actually do any damage in the long run or is this just a safety line
Dont mean empty either mean on minimum
Like will oil minimum vs maximum provide better cylinder cooling on maximum or is it just a safety line for if you have say a slow oil leak

With radiator coolant, it doesn't matter as long as there is always some coolant in the reservoir. If it ever runs out, then there is the potential that the cooling system isn't full and there's air in the system, which will reduce cooling ability.

With oil level, there is a 1 quart difference between min and max. Less oil means less cooling capacity for the oil, and in a highly stressed engine this might lead to higher temperatures and perhaps higher wear. In normal driving it would make no difference.
