Just a month ago it started doing this. If I turn AC on, it goes to recirc. Light on the button comes on. This is normal.
But when I press the button to turn off recirc, the mode doesn't disable. The light turns off but I can hear that the air is still sucked in from under the windshield.
If I turn AC off, I can hear recirculation turn off. I can cycle recirc on/off, as long as AC is off.
Also, if I'm on AC and switch to windshield, I can hear the recirculation turn off, then it blows on the windshield. As soon as I select any other vent, recirculation turns back on.
The problem is quite clearly in the software. Is there a way to reset the HVAC electronics?

I've only been here in the forum for a month and even that's an issue I haven't heard of yet. I to have a 2017 FiST.

More symptoms.
Recirculation is off when outside temp is below 75F. I can cycle it on/off with AC on. As soon as it hits 75F outside, recirculation turns on (if AC is on) and cannot be turned off (as described in the OP).
Now that it's cool outside, this isn't a problem for me. Sucks that all software I've dealt with in cars, that are newer than about 2013, has been glitchy. I miss my 350z.
