Accessport won't connect

I misplaced my accessport to computer cable and tried using another micro usb cable to connect it. However, it would not connect at all, could someone help me out on this issue or point me in the right direction?

This happened to me. Try another, higher quality micro-USB cable. Like one that came with a phone or something. Some of the cheaper ones don't transfer data well, if at all.
