The good news OP is that the Fiesta paint is so cheap and thin that you'll have matching rock chips covering the car after two years of ownership.

What color is your car? I ask because I wonder if it has something to do with the paint color. I have 14K miles on my White (platinum) and no paint chips. Prior to buying the car I read on the Forum about how the paint chipped so I was worried and still check often. Maybe I am just lucky so far. But curious about colors. Could it be the tri-coat paints are more durable?
