Holy wheels batman! Yep, that's a little insane.

Where do you go for events? I would love to get my feet wet in doing some actual racing / aggressive driving with the car, I've never been in the car scene in Calgary so my knowledge is zero.

What is your DD during the winter? I use the FiST as living out of town adds a good bit of driving just for a grocery run. Car looks good, super clean!

A lot of people come from Calgary to Edmonton to drive/race on the Road Course at Castrol Raceway by the airport here. You have two choice on how to race there, either through the NASCC or Track Junkies. NASCC does race weekends meant for race cars but they offer a two day school in the spring where you get 1 on 1 instruction which is pretty good. Track Junkies handles all the lapping events so street cars allowed. Apart from that there is autocross at Castrol as well, and my favorite rally cross which happens just south of Devon come summer time.

I was running a set of 18" Sparco Assetto Garas. With the the amount of driving I do they just didn't suit my needs. Gravel roads and low pros no fun!!

Anyone looking to buy a used FiST? I think I'll have to part with mine soon unfortunately. Spread the word!

Can't afford it unfortunately. My back sucks and I can't work, lawyers aren't getting anywhere fast so I'm reducing costs.

Love the car, I buy them to keep them - disappointed I have to sell the FiST and my Tundra.

Hey relatively new here on the form, picked up a 2015 PB Fiesta around the end of Feburary since Ford had their sizable rebates.

This is my first new car, and I'm still relatively new to things so I was wondering how everyone is doing their mods. Is everyone doing their mod's and tuning themselves, or are there places that they could recommend to go? I got a set of Rally armor mud flaps installed with the help of some friends, but would be interested in maybe getting a short shifter and a look into some of the simpler stuff to start.

Oh, and I'm in the NW of Calgary I'd that helps.

Congrats on the car - I've found it pretty easy to work on personally. Then again, this isn't the first vehicle that I've modded. My 4Runner is done right up and has given me the experience and knowledge base that gives me confidence playing with other (people's) vehicles.

With some jack stands, a nice low profile jack and some basic hand tools you can do a lot. Space to keep said items is usually the difficulty for most people. If you're willing to learn and research through forums and google then you can learn lots and keep the resale value of your car high. Be cognizant of how your mods affect the car overall and don't do any spur of the moment mods. Sleep on everything - find something you like, sleep on it, come back and decide if it's right for you.

Good luck and happy modding.

Welcome to the forum, gratz on the car at that price (you got slightly better deal than I did). I have a buddy that works at DIX as well, he has tempted me a few times with the MBRP as well lol. As for intercooler and pipes I suggest looking at DEPO racing as they seem to have to most reasonable prices for quality items, just sucks for conversion right now.

I am in the same boat, have been liking the CP-E more and more lately due to no drone as that is pretty important for me as this is my daily and will be used on long highway road trips. The CP-E sounds super good but the price is a killer..... Another one to look at is Ultimate racing as they are Canadian as well and can swing you better deals if you call them, not anywhere near MBRP deals through DIX but better than CP-E lol.

Hi Ab FiST owners, had one of the first blue FiST's in YYC back in Oct 2013, wish I searched for this forum years back. Unfortunately will be looking to move out if mine relatively soon as I'm being relocated stateside and she is not allowed as its a stick 24k/year lease and no bueno. Anywho just thought I would throw it out there to the board to see the interest b4 posting in the car sites and what not.

Anyone planning any meets this summer? Has everyone joined the Calgary Focus and Fiesta group on Facebook?
Phreak do you have any clips of your exhaust?
