I keep my vehicles to they are worthy of the junkyard. I don't sell or trade in yes high-mileage reliability on long trips is worrisome, but being free of constant car payments and such is a great way to have a very nice retirement. Being free of financial stress is a amazing feeling. On long trips I typically rent vehicles I like to see what else is out there.
