Any Air Ride Progress out there?

Been emailing airlift every month trying to get them to put out a kit, anyone else, I know D2 makes a set but I only have experience with airlift and accuair.

Anyone else interested in it?

or reasons why on this car it would not work out well?

I'm probably not the best person to answer but. http://www.modbargains.com/ford-airrex-air-struts.htm Looks like it at least may be an option. Not something that seems common by any stretch, but would be interested to see someone do it.

That was my initial thought too. I guess I question it being it's listed on the website with the ST. Maybe [MENTION=282]BlueBomber[/MENTION] can chime in. ModBargins has always been helpful with my questions.

When it comes down to it I don't know enough about the differences in suspension between the base and the ST.

Suspension is interchangeable between the standard Fiesta and ST. Only difference is the the standard fiesta's struts are a tad shorter.

he just took the airlift universal kit and made it work on the fiesta, I'm trying to get them to make an actual bolt on kit. Cool build though

Found this on the website, but they're not making a kit specifically for the Fiesta. You could probably call the sales department and ask if anything is in the works.

Air lift sucks anyways. Poor customer service and the kit is slow. You can piece a kit together with accuair and then get strut bags with a damper of your choice.

I've had great luck with their products and customer service but seems like no luck for the fiesta

My car has it, but I think it was a one-off for SEMA as well.

It is an Air Lift set up best as I can tell. I tried to get info from the people, or find the shop that did it, but no dice so far.

I was just in contact with Airlift yesterday and they told me that they are interested in doing a bolt on kit sometime in the near future. I know i want one bad, but if there is anybody else out there, maybe a GI thread to show them exactly how many people will be buying a bolt on kit. They also told me that they will be needing a car to R&D due to all previous kits being one off for SEMA.

I had my car up on a lift earlier this week and saw that mine was definitely a one off. The rear upper spring mounts are different. it looks like the stock ones were cut off and the ones that fit the top of the air bag were welded on. The welds were covered up with some black under body coating goo. The lower spring cup in the rear axle was drilled out to fit the stock bolt locations for the bottom of the air bag in lower spring mount.

The fronts look like they trimmed the spring perch off of the stock strut so the lower portion of the air bag would sit better. I'm guessing the top is the stock.

And everything else lives in the spare tire well. I took pictures, I have to get them off of my phone so I can upload them if people want to see.

Here are pics of my set up. Sorry it is dirty, we had a bunch of rain and I didn't have time to wash it before getting it up on the lift.

Overall, it is okay. It works, but the install wasn't done nearly as clean as another install I have looked at.

I'd really like to clean it up and make it look "professional" and not as hacked together as it looks.

It looks like they used the stock struts and shocks, and hacked off the lower spring perch up front, and the upper spring perch in the rear.
