Hey guys
As my vehicle is over 9 years old now and running 320bhp.. not tracked but driven hard at points

Was wondering the sort of condition these belts are normally at 10 years or longer on a tuned vehicle?

Was it very worn or did it have some life remaining

Any replies will be very appreciated

What mileage does the car have? It's recommended to replace at 10 years or 150k miles I believe. I've seen a lot of people say the belt looked just fine but it's either ok or instantly....not. It doesn't just slowly wear out and you can tell and have to get in front of it. When it fails it's instant and catastrophic.

It's a bit early to do do mine but I'm planning on doing it early since this is my daily.

my 2014 with 150k miles looked brand new under the timing cover. even the accessory belt and water pump were still minty and i was kinda kicking myself for replacing them when they had plenty of life left, but i wasn't going to do the job again just to do a leaking water pump in 50k more miles or whenever it decided to start leaking, so i just did it since i bought it when i was buying parts to do the belt.
