Anyone watch the GRC?

I've been watching it since its been televised around 2013 or so. These races are very short, super aggressive, asphalt/dirt tracks with jumps. I honestly don't see how this sport is sustainable considering how much damage they cause to these cars. These guys go all out to the point some races it seems more a demo derby than a race.

The fiesta had dominated since its entry over the Darts, STI's, and whatever Liam Doran would drive (Mini/Citroen). At the LA race I was surprised how well the STI's were doing and the VW's are now 1 & 2, and unless they are caught cheating on emissions tests will win the the championship this year.

Has anyone read anything about Ken Block's implosion over the last few races or anything on whether the fiesta's will be doing any upgrades soon?

Have you ever seen rally in the 70s-80s? GRC is sustainable.

It's more than sustainable. I wouldn't worry about Red Bull or Monster or Kobalt or even Ford themselves being unable to afford some new plastics or actual parts each race. GRC is one of the few auto racing events I actually do watch, rally drivers have some mad skills and it's not always about top speed. I love that shit.

I saw it for the first time yesterday and it was great to watch even if the VW’s won. I hope the Vegas race is televised.

I wish I would have been able to see the 1st set of races, but I lost the first half hour due to local emergency broadcast due to the flooding here. I saw just a small snippet of Block having a pretty major flip.

Block rolled his car at the first Barbados race and then had a tire blowout during the second race yesterday. Patrick Sandell is my favorite driver but he blew his clutch during one of the qualifying races and spent the race of the time with no clutch. He is a bad ass driver.

I thought it was pretty crazy how he was driving without the rear wing. I think they all are pretty awesome drivers, Deegan always surprises me since he doesn't drive the whole season and always has some of the most exciting passes.

Deegan is a wild card, he is super aggressive and since he is in last place for the championship is he is driving like a mad man. Like yesterday when he came sideways out of the Joker Lap and basically shoved himself into the middle of the group. That was awesome, it was like, "And Deegan out of nowhere!".

I would like to watch it but I can never find it on TV and every time I find an online TV schedule it's always wrong.

Do any of you guys have an updated TV listings of when they air??

Okay, thanks. I'll definitely be looking out for that.

While on that note, not to take away from the thread, but does anybody else know of any regular scheduled rally/racing that's on? I've been trying to find some to watch but like I said I can never find a complete, correct listing. And I don't mean NASCAR.

I know NBC (sports) also broadcasts a good bit of F1. I'd probably see what else they show
