Ap lose power? Switch tune?

AP doesn't charge. It gets power through the obd port. Maybe you weren't plugged in fully?

Like others noted, the AP does not need to be charged, it draws power from the OBD port on your car. Also, the car/ECU can not "lose" the tune. However, boost can fluctuate depending on conditions (example: hot vs cold out). I'd recommend monitoring OAR to make sure it is at -1.00 and also make sure you don't have a bad tank of gas.

So what does it mean when your ap3 goes black when your car is on? Sorry for the thread jack.
He means it shut off. Because the AP doesn't have a battery. It's powered by the car via the OBDII port. The USB is for connecting to a computer for updates among other things.
