Well finally decided to post this to see if it's been happening to any other members. This has happen a total of 4 times. Start the car let it warm up, AP will say "trying to connect to vehicle" then car just idles, can rev, no power steering, airbag light flashes, maintenance light comes on. I disconnect the AP, turn off car, lock it, then unlock and try starting, won't start , I have to repeat this a few times then it finally starts up and acts normal.. Let me know if this is a known problem. I going to send a email to Cobb also

Unmarry it, update the firmware (if it's not), and load it up again. Have you tried that?

Had a very similar problem after the update for the Auto on off feature where when I turned the car on and the AP turned on I would loose power steering, maintenance light would come on along with the traction control light and then the car would be in limp mode and not rev I disconnected my AP just by unplugging it and everything went back to normal when the car turned on without the auto on off feature working. I emailed Cobb and all they said was to stop using the auto on off feature which I did and the problem never re-occurred. Since then I have been to scared to update my AP or try to use the Auto on off feature again.
