Ap v2 fiesta st

Came across this,

Seems like it would be a decent purchase, I've read that you can still use the v2, you just miss out on certain features. Am I missing anything? Obviously I will have to purchase some maps from Cobb or Tune+ etc.

The V2 Accessport does not support the Fiesta ST, sorry! Also, be careful with those Ebay auctions on used APs, we've seen a lot recently where they were not uninstalled/unmarried and the new owner is out a lot of cash with no way to fix it

I just bought a V2 off ebay, hooked it up, it recognized the vehicle as a 2014, saved my ecu file, did all the wierd light flashing, had me turn off turn on etc

And I used my v2 AP to do the firmware update and load v221 with launch control and flat foot shifting......that is awesome BTW

It will only work if you have a 2014, 2015+ is only supported by the v3. I found out the hard way after I bought a v2 on ebay for my 15 and it didn't work. I Still managed to get a good deal on a v3 with the trade in program though.
