Best Tire Shine

Hey guys, I'm curious what you guys have found is the best/longest lasting tire shine for your FiSTs? I use Armor All Tire Foam on the wife's 2014 Escape, works great, super easy, and long lasting, but the FiST tires aren't really a big enough target for that aerosol spray. It would mostly end up on the wheels or fenders.

Tried the regular original Armor All spray with paper towels. Worked great on the flat wall Nitto tires that were on my Cobra however the FiST's factory Bridgestone Potenzas side walls aren't flat so you end up with shiny and not shiny spots since you can't really get into all the crevices of the sidewall design.

Obviously the best answer would be to get some new wheels and tires however my wife wouldn't agree. LOL [giggle] So what product/method do you guys use to shine your tires?

Thanks in advance!

I generally can't stand tire shine as I don't like when they turn brown so I just buff my tires with a rag after a wash.

If I were to use anything I would probably use the Optimum tire product with a tire shine sponge. I've heard good things about it from detailing friends but never personally used it.

I'm the same and don't use tire shine that often, but Armor All Outlast Tire Glaze seems to work the best for me so far. Even after washing, my tires are still shiny from the previous application.

AMMO products are AMAZING! Pricey but work like there suppose to, the mud tire gel is perfect not real shiny but keeps it looking like a fresh tire.

Try a sponge scrub and soak the sponge side with your favorite product, apply using the sponge I found that it works great with any tire, specially the ST tires.

Good luck!

I frequently suggest Prima Nero, its more of a boutique brand of car care, but the low shine, ease of application and overall lack effort makes it a great product.

I go with glazes.

My favorite was this one:

It smelled like peppermint.

Now I use Mothers because I can't find the Sanctioned stuff.

But glaze works amazing because it keeps the tire looking fresh and not shiny, there is minimal sling, and it lasts super long as well as not turning brown later.
